Dr. Raman Ghoshis an accomplished Assistant Professor (AI & Analytics) at the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI). In this role, he teaches Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, data visualization, Python programming, project management, and SAP HANA modelling. He is actively engaged in projects funded by the Department of Science and Technology, focusing on biotech startups, green hydrogen initiatives, and IoT systems; and the projects funded by the other ministries like MSMEs, Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India, etc. showcasing his ability to bridge academia and industry effectively. Raman holds a BTech in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Indore, an MS in Petroleum Technology from IIITM Gwalior, and a Ph.D. in Chemical Simulations from IIT Bombay.

His academic achievements include publishing 8 research papers in Scopus-indexed journals, presenting at international conferences, and having two patents under process in a similar domain. Professionally, Raman’s journey began with 18 months at Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., where he managed AVU, ARU, and CRU plant operations. He then served as a Senior Project Associate at Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, Department of Space, followed by a 5-year tenure as an Executive Engineer with SEEPZ-SEZ under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry. There, he spearheaded IT infrastructure projects, developed bio-mechanization plants, and handled procurement processes. His notable contributions included developing government-compliant websites, ERP solutions, and receiving the "Best Employee" award in 2022.

Raman has also served as a Senior eProcurement Advisor to the Director General of Shipping, where he provided strategic guidance on procurement processes, compliance, and technology upgrades for maritime operations. His contributions streamlined procurement workflows and enhanced operational efficiency at the national level. With a strong foundation in research, technology, and project management, Raman continues to excel as an academic leader and industry collaborator, making significant contributions to science, engineering, and innovation.
