Construction and Infrastructure Project Management
PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
India invests significantly in construction and infrastructure projects as a rapidly developing economy. These initiatives aim to enhance existing capacities, create new infrastructure, and strengthen technological capabilities across sectors. Successful project execution requires timely completion, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. Achieving these objectives necessitates a structured approach integrating planning, monitoring, and control mechanisms for time, cost, and quality through a comprehensive, systems-oriented framework.
As stakeholders' expectations rise, organisations engaged in Construction and Infrastructure projects must increasingly adopt a project-centric approach. Effective cross-functional coordination, human resource management, project formulation, planning, implementation, and evaluation are critical to project success.
Additionally, evolving business environments have reshaped contractual relationships, introducing complexities in sustaining them. Contract failures extend beyond financial losses, affecting overall project performance due to work disruptions, arbitration, litigation, and reputational damage. Consequently, mastering project management and contract administration has become essential for executives at all levels.
