Programme Overview
Sustainable Production and Consumption (SPC) address global environmental challenges, enhances resource efficiency, and ensures long-term business sustainability. Companies, government bodies, and financial institutions must adopt responsible production and consumption practices to achieve net-zero goals, minimise waste, and support circular economy principles.This training programme is designed to equip participants with the knowledge, strategies, and tools required to integrate sustainability into their operations. The programme will offer actionable insights for organisations aiming to align with global and national sustainability targets through policy frameworks, case studies, and interactive discussions.

CONTENT
Day 1: Foundations of Sustainable Production and Consumption
Participants will receive an overview of SPC, its significance, and its impact on businesses and policy frameworks. This session will cover key principles, regulatory requirements, and global commitments, enabling participants to align their strategies with sustainability goals.
Day 2: Strategies for Resource Efficiency and Circular Economy
This session will focus on implementing best practices and strategies for responsible production, resource optimisation, and circular economy. Discussions will explore sustainability integration within supply chains, the role of innovation, and methods to enhance operational sustainability.
Day 3: Financial Models, ESG Disclosures, and Action Planning
The final day will emphasise responsible consumption, financing mechanisms for sustainability, and reporting frameworks. Participants will gain insights into sustainability finance, ESG disclosures, and impact assessments. The programme will conclude with an interactive action- planning session, enabling participants to develop practical roadmaps for their organisations.
METHODOLOGY
The training employs an interactive approach, blending theoretical insights with real-world applications. Participants will engage in case studies, group discussions, and hands-on exercises to enhance practical understanding. The programme fosters experiential learning to ensure participants can implement sustainability strategies effectively within their organisations.
FACULTY PROFILE
Dr Sweety Pandey, the Programme Director, is an expert in economic policy, sustainability, and climate strategy. She holds a PhD in Economics from Banaras Hindu University and has extensive experience with organisations such as NITI Aayog and PwC. Her work in climate policy, energy transition, and sustainable finance aligns closely with the programme's themes. At NITI Aayog, she played a crucial role in shaping India's energy and environmental policies. The programme will also feature leading practitioners and faculty members specialising in sustainability management, resource efficiency, and environmental governance.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This programme is designed for professionals across various sectors, including corporate sustainability managers, supply chain heads, CSR executives, policymakers, regulatory officials, environmental officers, ESG analysts, investment professionals, entrepreneurs, and consultants in sustainability-focused businesses. Participants will gain valuable insights to support organisations transitioning to responsible production and consumption, ensuring alignment with sustainability goals and regulatory frameworks.
Organisational sponsorship is essential.
VENUE
The programme is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in air-conditioned single-occupancy rooms. The college does not provide accommodation for the family. The college campus is Wi-Fi-enabled comprehensively.
DURATION
The programme duration is 3 days, starting from February 09 - 11, 2026. The participants are expected to arrive a day before commencement and may leave after the conclusion of the programme.
PROGRAMME FEE
Residential Fee: Rs. 43,700/- (US $ 683 for foreigners) plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, board and lodging, courseware (in electronic form) and other facilities of the College including internet usage.
Non-Residential Fee: Rs. 37,700/- plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, courseware (in electronic form), working lunch, and other facilities of the College, including internet usage.
A discount of 10% on the Programme fee for three or more participants from the same organisation will be given, provided the payment is credited into our Bank account before February 06, 2026.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
The nominees are requested to carry with them the proof of Medical Insurance. The sponsoring agency is required to endorse the nominees' medical coverage in the event of hospitalization.

LAST DATE FOR WITHDRAWAL
February 05, 2026. Any withdrawals after this date will entail forfeiture of the fee paid, if any.
ASCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Participants of the College programmes will automatically become members of the ASCI Alumni Association.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
The College issues a Certificate of Participation on the conclusion of the programme.
