PROGRAMME OVERVIEW
In today’s highly competitive business landscape, achieving cost leadership is essential for enhancing profitability and operational efficiency. This programme equips participants with strategic cost-minimization techniques to optimise cost structures, eliminate inefficiencies, and drive value creation across business processes. Integrating best practices from national and international perspectives, participants will gain insights into activity-based analysis, costreduction methodologies, and strategic cost management applicable across industries. This structured programme focuses on identifying non-value-adding activities, redesigning processes for efficiency, and implementing cost-control measures. Participants will explore key tools such as Activity-Based Costing (ABC), Target Costing, and Benchmarking to analyse cost drivers, enhance business performance, and create a sustainable competitive advantage. Through realworld case studies from manufacturing and service sectors, participants will develop hands-on expertise in implementing effective cost-minimization strategies aligned with their organisation’s long-term goals

Day 1: Fundamentals of Cost Leadership
• Introduction to cost-minimization strategies and cost structure breakdown.
• Relevant cost analysis and identifying inefficiencies.
Day 2: Advanced Cost Analysis Techniques
• Absorption vs. Marginal Costing.
• Break-even analysis.
• Hands-on exercises in Activity-Based Costing (ABC).
Day 3: Strategic Cost Management
• Implementation of ABC and Target Costing.
• Group discussions on leveraging cost strategies for efficiency.
Day 4: Financial Planning and Control
• Budgeting, variance analysis, and transfer pricing.
• Profitability management through data-driven cost control
Day 5: Cost Leadership Implementation
• Developing a cost leadership action plan.
• Case studies and real-world applications.
• Integration of strategies into organisational performance.

METHODOLOGY
The pedagogy follows an interactive and immersive learning approach, incorporating:

FACULTY PROFILE
The programme will be led by Dr Mohammed Mujahed Ali and Ms Sridevi Tummarakoti, who bring over two decades of expertise spanning teaching, corporate training, research, banking, and administration. Additionally, the programme will feature distinguished practitioners and industry experts, offering participants practical insights and real-world applications of cost leadership strategies.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
This programme is designed for senior finance, accounting executives, and professionals managing business performance through profit and loss oversight (P&L). SBU heads, team leaders, and decision-makers seeking to implement cost-minimisation strategies and process improvements will benefit significantly. It is ideal for enhancing cost efficiency, optimising financial resources, and driving organisational profitability

VENUE
The programme is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in air conditioned single occupancy rooms. The college does not provide accommodation for the family. The college is Wi-Fi enabled in a comprehensive way.
DURATION
The programme duration is from August 04 - 08, 2025. The participants are expected to arrive a day before commencement and may leave after the conclusion of the programme.
PROGRAMME FEE
Residential Fee: Rs. 69,500/- (US $ 1086 for foreigners) plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, board and lodging, courseware (in electronic form) and other facilities of the College including internet usage.
Non-Residential Fee: Rs. 59,500/- plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, course ware (in electronic form) working lunch and other facilities of the College including internet usage.
A discount of 10% on the programme fee for three or more participants from the same organisation will be given, provided the payment is made into our Bank account before August 01, 2025
MEDICAL INSURANCE
The nominees are requested to carry with them the proof of Medical Insurance. The sponsoring agency is required to endorse the nominee's medical coverage in the event of hospitalization.

LAST DATE FOR WITHDRAWAL
July 28, 2025. Any withdrawals after this date will entail forfeiture of the fee paid, if any.
ASCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Participants of College Programmes will automatically become members of the ASCI Alumni Association.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
