This MDP explores how AI and emerging technologies can transform governance, covering policy, administration, and service delivery. Participants - policymakers, officials, and corporate leaders— will examine the benefits of AI, ethical concerns, and regulatory challenges. Through expert sessions, case studies, and discussions, the program provides strategies for digital transformation and risk management. It blends theory with practical applications to enhance decision-making and governance efficiency. The goal is to equip leaders with tools to implement AI-driven, citizen-centric solutions responsibly.
IMPACT
The programme will enable leaders to leverage AI for smarter, more transparent governance while addressing risks like bias and privacy. Participants will gain skills to design policies and use technology in an effective way that improves public services, streamlines bureaucracy, and ensures ethical tech adoption. By fostering responsible AI use, it aims to enhance trust in digital governance. The MDP will create a network of professionals capable of driving innovation in the public and private sectors. Ultimately, it seeks to build adaptive, inclusive governance systems for the AI era.
CONTENT
Day 1: An Overview of Technology in Governance
The programme focuses on laying a conceptual foundation by introducing participants to the basic tenets of governance in both public and private sector contexts. Definitions and evolving models of governance. Digital Innovation for Informed Decision Making: Exploring how technology is leveraged to improve transparency, accountability, and responsiveness in governance processes. Cross-Sectoral Technology Innovations for SDG Alignment, a detailed examination of global best practices in e-governance models. Cross-Sectoral Technology Innovations for SDG Alignment of technology in governance, emphasizing the need for robust policy and oversight mechanisms.
Day 2: Practical applications of technology within governance systems
Harnessing Emerging Technologies for Good Governance. It begins with an in-depth look at emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, big data, and blockchain, and their transformative potential in policy implementation, data transparency, and citizen engagement. Smart cities and urban governance, featuring real-world case studies. Transforming Customer Experience with Al & Enhancing Risk Management: Identifying the core challenges to technology adoption in governance, including infrastructure deficits, digital literacy, and resistance to change. Ethical Considerations, Data Privacy & Security Challenges.
Day 3: Evaluation and the Road Ahead
Digital Transformation: Al, loT & Cloud. Evaluating the effectiveness and impact of tech-enabled governance using specific metrics and evaluation tools. Digital Public Service Delivery, Role of Technology in Global Governance: Challenges & Opportunities. Role of good governance in the success of an organization, where participants critically examine how principles such as accountability, integrity, and citizen-centricity impact organizational outcomes.
FACULTY AND METHODOLOGY
The MDP faculty comprises a dynamic blend of experienced professionals, led by Dr Ashok Kumar Patnaik, Professor CHRD, Along with ASCl's esteemed faculty pool, the program features eminent personalities from Indian Civil Services, CEOs, Business Management Experts, and renowned Legal and Technical Advisors, all with significant experience in top management roles. Their extensive knowledge and real-life examples from the corporate world will enrich the learning experience, offering participants valuable insights into practical, real-world applications based on their experience and expertise.
PARTICIPANT PROFILE
The programme is designed for Junior, Middle, and Senior Level Executives, Managers, and other Administrators who work in the area of Technology & Governance or work in the IT/ ITES domain. Members of thee-Governance project implementation teams, including officials from Central, State Departments of Information Technology, NISG, C-DAC, State e-Governance Societies, Chief Information Officers, and NGOs, as well as other relevant organisations interested in understanding and implementing technology in governance, will significantly benefit from this programme. The programme will also benefit professionals and researchers.
Organisational sponsorship is essential
VENUE
The programme is fully residential and the participants will be accommodated in air-conditioned single-occupancy rooms. The college does not provide accommodation for the family. The college campus is Wi-Fi-enabled comprehensively.
DURATION
The programme duration is 3 days, starting from January 05 - 07, 2026. The participants are expected to arrive a day before commencement and may leave after the conclusion of the programme.
PROGRAMME FEE
Residential Fee: Rs. 43,700/- (US $ 683 for foreigners) plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, board and lodging, courseware (in electronic form) and other facilities of the College including internet usage.
Non-Residential Fee: Rs. 37,700/- plus GST as applicable (presently 18%) per participant. The fee covers tuition, courseware (in electronic form), working lunch, and other facilities of the College, including internet usage.
A discount of 10% on the Programme fee for three or more participants from the same organisation will be given, provided the payment is credited into our Bank account before January 03, 2026.

MEDICAL INSURANCE
The nominees are requested to carry with them the proof of Medical Insurance. The sponsoring agency is required to endorse the nominees' medical coverage in the event of hospitalization.

LAST DATE FOR WITHDRAWAL
January 02, 2026. Any withdrawals after this date will entail forfeiture of the fee paid, if any.
ASCI ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Participants of the College programmes will automatically become members of the ASCI Alumni Association.
CERTIFICATE OF PARTICIPATION
The College issues a Certificate of Participation on the conclusion of the programme.
