Greetings from Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI)!

As you might be aware the setting up of ASCI was facilitated by Govt. of India 69 years ago in 1956! ASCI was set up to contribute to formulation of public policy and to the capacity building of civil services, as a new Nation was poised to herald a new dawn.

Till date, approximately 1,80,000 number of civil servants, senior leadership of PSU’s, Banks and international trainees have passed through the portals of ASCI. It is a matter of immense satisfaction to note the immense contribution they have made to the nation building and continuing to do so.

ASCI had entered a new epoch by aligning with the National training mission - Karmachari to Karmayogi. We are at the forefront of heralding a new change of outcome based governance. Towards this end, a Karmayogi Management Development (MDP) has been launched in March 2025. (asci.org.in/atma-nirbharta) this was an attempt to give expression to our civilizational values of inclusiveness ingrained in our rich culture and heritage. In continuation, we have launched Atmanirbharta Karmayogi Leadership Programme for the senior leadership of our defence eco system in August 2025.

ASCI subscribes to the motto of Nation First. Our ethos is to bring cutting edge knowledge and learning for the benefit of public institutions and services. Through these endeavours, it is a matter of immense satisfaction that we could contribute to knowledge enrichment and dissemination by adding value.
