Dr Janardhan Reddy, born 6th November, 1962 holds a Post Graduate in Veterinary Science (Extension Education) from Andhra Pradesh Agricultural University (1987); Secured 3rd Rank in APPSC Group I Examination & selected as Deputy Collector in 1990 and was inducted into IAS in 1996.

Prior to joining in ASCI as Professor of Practice and assumed as Director (In-charge), CEUG&ID, he held the following key positions:

• Chairman, Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC);
• In-charge Vice Chancellor for Three Universities in Telangana State for about five years;
• Secretary, Education and Principal Secretary, Agriculture in Telangana State Government;
• Commissioner & Director of Municipal Administration (CDMA);
• Managing Director, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWSSB);
• Metropolitan Commissioner, Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA);
• Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and In-charge Mayor;
• Commissioner, Agriculture, Horticulture, Sericulture etc., Departments.
• Collector, Warangal and Anantapur Districts, Andhra Pradesh prior to bifurcation;
