Programme on Digital Frauds: Prevention, Detection and Control for BFSI Executives
Digital banking has seen rapid growth, offering enhanced access to financial services and improved operational efficiency. However, this digital transformation has also led to a significant rise in the frequency and sophistication of digital frauds. These emerging threats pose serious challenges for regulators, banks, NBFCs, and other financial institutions.
This programme, offered by the Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of digital fraud risks and equip BFSI professionals with effective prevention, detection, and control mechanisms.

- Technology-driven frauds: Identity theft, phishing, cyber frauds and cyber-attacks
Day 2: Managing Digital Risk and Leveraging Analytics
- Crisis management and incident response in the BFSI sector
- AML, KYC, Aadhaar and account opening frauds
- Case studies on digital financial frauds
- Introduction to fraud analytics: AI-based detection and real-time risk monitoring
Day 3: Advanced Strategies and Legal Compliance
- Advanced fraud detection techniques and predictive analytics
- Customer support and response mechanisms for fraud victims
- Overview of IT Act 2000 and key legal provisions
- Hands-on practice sessions in the cybersecurity lab (CTmP)

Participant Profile
The programme is designed for middle to senior-level professionals working in fraud investigation, fraud management, cyber security, IT, digital banking, compliance, credit, and operational domains across Banks, NBFCs, Financial Institutions, and Regulatory Bodies. Organisational sponsorship is essential.
Faculty
The programme is led by Dr. Madhusoodanan P. R., Professor and Director, Centre for Economics and Finance and Centre of Excellence in Cyber Defence, ASCI. The faculty team also includes regulators, industry practitioners, and experienced academicians.
Venue
The programme is fully residential. Participants will be accommodated in air-conditioned single occupancy rooms. The ASCI campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled.
Duration
The programme duration is 3 days, from February 25 to 27, 2026. Participants are expected to arrive a day prior to commencement.
Programme Fee
Residential Fee: Rs. 43,700/- plus GST (18%) per participant.
Non-Residential Fee: Rs. 37,700/- plus GST (18%) per participant.
A 10% discount is applicable for three or more participants from the same organisation,
provided payment is made before February 23, 2026.
Medical Insurance
Participants must carry proof of valid medical insurance. The sponsoring agency must endorse coverage in the event of hospitalization.
