Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI), Hyderabad
The Administrative Staff College of India (ASCI) is an institution of excellence and national importance, established in 1956 as a joint initiative of the Government of India and the industry. It is an autonomous, public-purpose institution functioning as a think-tank for policy inputs and capacity building of practicing professionals.
ASCI is a subject allocated to the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, as per the Second Schedule to the Government of India (Allocation of Business Rules), 1961. ( https://www.education.gov.in/allocation-business )
ASCI imparts modern management techniques to senior managers from Government, Public Sector Undertakings, banks, international organizations such as the World Bank, IMF, ADB, and the private sector. Faculty members also conduct applied research and provide consultancy and advisory support.
The incumbent is expected to prepare and manage capacity-building and consultancy projects, market these initiatives to relevant clients, and liaise effectively with national and international funding agencies.
